Prod Mgr - Endourology, Sboro Product Manager - Endourology JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE:Product Manager - Endourology DEPARTMENT (Name and Number):Marketing – Urology DivisionFLSA/LABOR CODE:  REPORT TO: Director, Product Management, Urology Div. XEXEMPT NON EXEMPT   HOURLY DIRECT LABOR INDIRECT LABORDIVISION/LOCATION:Southboro JOB CODE/EEO CODE/JOB GRADE   PURPOSE/SUMMARY Product manager will manage the day-to-day activities to support a portfolio of Olympus and Gyrus ACMI Endourology products. The products will include the following:  F.O. Rigid Nephroscope (MRO-2004/5), Semi-Rigid Ureteroscopes (MR’s, MRO’s), F.O. Flex Ureteroscopes (DUR-8’s),F.O. Flex Cystoscopes (ACN-2), Olympus Video Scopes (URF-V & CYF-V)Olympus Semi-Rigid Ureteroscopes, Olympus F.O. Flex Ureteroscopes, Olympus F.O. Flex Cystoscopes, Olympus Nephroscopes  Responsibilities will range from taking products from concept through commercial release to managing the day to day of existing products (see below for details). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Â§ Interfacing with cross-functional project teams, physicians and sales personnel to provide guidance necessary to develop world class products that meet customers needs§ Monitoring sales trends and updating forecasts as necessary to meet demand§ Monitoring of market trends including competition, procedural/market growth, reimbursement, and emerging technologies § Managing marketing activities associated with the new product development process including the creation of new product proposals, marketing specifications, product manuals and associated labelling§ Conducting product market acceptance studies and clinical validation activities§ Creating marketing collateral and tools to support the selling process§ Field work with sales and sales management§ Creating and implementing the tactics that support the marketing strategies to include pricing, positioning, programs and promotions that are in line with the strategic business plan § Developing relationships with MD product champions and key opinion leaders who will influence broader market acceptance of Gyrus ACMI / Olympus products§ Maintaining your expertise as the “product and clinical specialistâ€� by attending procedures, courses, tradeshows, and staying abreast of industry changes and advancements Creating training presentations and conducting training for sales at training sessions, national sales meeting, tradeshows, accounts, etc.§  Travel 25%-40%, including international travel§  All other essential duties as directed SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES (IF ANY) – Optional section (List of subordinate jobs for which this job has direct hire/discipline/budget responsibility)   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
