Principal Engineer - Medical Surgical Systems
A Principal Engineer – Medical Surgical Systems is needed at a global medical technology company that makes and sells medical devices and instrumented systems in northern NJ. He/she will be responsible for leading new technology development efforts for the next generation of hypodermic medication preparation and delivery devices. The Principal Engineer will also provide leadership and advanced engineering skills to identify and solve complex problems as well as conceive, plan and lead technical development activities on new products.
Qualified candidates must possess all of the following experience and knowledge to be considered for interviews:
MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.6 or more years engineering experience preferably in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industries. A successful track record of delivering products to market or developing commercially viable technology.An advanced understanding of disciplined product development processes, regulatory and quality requirements, and high-volume manufacturing practices.Knowledge and use of CAE design and simulation tools.
