Prin IT Developer Purpose: Analyze, design, evaluate, program, test, and support of complex information systems; perform at the highest technical/functional level in all phases of systems analysis and development activities; design, develop, modify, and evaluate programs for internal functional areas including manufacturing, finance, marketing and human resources; work closely with functional users to enhance and maintain programs; work with other team members to develop requirements specifications; demonstrate mastery of the technical environment, and provide technical expertise; conduct system/process design through conducting user interviews, researching technical architecture and/or user requirement options, and producing design documents that support user/technical design; design accurate and complete modules, design user interfaces and information models, validate design accuracy and completeness; code modules according to specifications and standards, conduct structured code reviews, prepare test plan and tests modules; specify tests for unit, integration and verification testing based on design specifications; recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards; debug and verify own software and software developed by other; monitor system, analyzes and classifies change requests, determines the scope and feasibility of change, demonstrates mastery of the technical environment, and provides technical expertise; plan, organize and control own work effort, provide input to project standards, provide status of progress, tasks completed and outstanding issues, and produce services/products of the best quality in the least amount of time; prepare and maintain formal documentation; perform duties using Visual Basic, .NET, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports Developer 6i, as well as PL/SQL Developer (Stored Procedures), IIS, Business Objects, Oracle, SQL 2000.
