PROJECT ENGINEER - Injection Molding

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY Develop Injection Molding tooling, process technology and equipment for manufacture of medical products and devices.Close collaboration with R&D and Manufacturing to implement technology solutions and advanced manufacturing technology.Project Management of the concept, design and build of new molding equipment (cradle to grave).Provide molding technology leadership for molding on multifunctional teams for new products.Support manufacturing plants to identify and implement cost reduction and performance improvements.Develop specifications, acceptance protocols and validation documents to purchase/implement tooling and equipment prototyping and high volume manufacturing.Provide design guidance and cost targets of new components and assemblies.Responsible for budget, scheduling and driving all activities to achieve project successes. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS MUST HAVE: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.7 plus years Injection Molding development in a high volume GMP manufacturing environment(FDA regulated Medical Device, Food Products, Automotive or Toy Industry) . DESIRE: Advanced Degree with Six Sigma Black or Green Belt Certified. CAD and mold flow analysis. Tool and die maker skills. SALARY $82,000 - $86,000 plus Bonus with excellent benefits.
