PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER/PROJECT LEADER
Our established southern New England medical device client continues to grow. For over 25 years, this company has been a leader in the world of infectious disease control and wound care products. In considering its plan for its future growth, its leadership has decided to intensify their new product development process. That means we need to augment our team with you to lead and to manage cross functional teams in the conception, development and commercialization of new products to achieve product quality, time-to-market and profitability objectives. You’re really an entrepreneur at heart, not a bench person. You also are able to be the ring master of the project team, an innovator and marketer. Above all, you are a leader and a doer. A good communicator and presentor, you’re skilled at advocating your products at the shows and interfacing with our clients. What are your credentials? Over 5 years experience leading the development of new products in the medical device or drug industry, ideally with a solid background in packaging engineering; a BA/BS degree in engineering or science, a MS preferred; an MBA would be great; certified as NPDP or PMP; a successful, demonstrated history of working within a formal product development process; proactive; exhibit a positive attitude; possess a sound business acumen;  effective project management skills; strong computer skills; experienced in publishing journal articles. There’s a lot more to share; but, first things first. At first blush, if you feel that you meet our expectations and truly want to become part of a company that makes a difference, contact me in confidence via email for a detailed position description with our specific expectations and an straightforward conversation at your earliest convenience:  Vénard Chanski, Sr. Partner, Hobson Associates ( vernc@hobsonassoc.com )
