Other duties may be assigned: Oracle responsibilities: Â· Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle applications issues Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle Discovere issues Run concurrent programs/ reports for business users. Write SQL * Plus queries for ad-hoc report requests from business users Run ad-hoc reports to extract Oracle information using TOAD queries for business users Proved extended support during month end close process Triage as the level 1 and improving to level 2 support on Oracle support calls. Identify permanent fixes to recurring problems at level 1 and level 2 support calls. Set-up and manage printers in Oracle Applications. Troubleshoot Oracle printer issues. Support, identify and define reports, with both users and Oracle developers, which could be generated out of Oracle to minimize manual manipulation of data. Work with current or potential Oracle users to improve efficienciesOther responsibilities:  Must be able to work in or have experience in team oriented, multi-site, WAN/VPN environment. Utilizes, escalates and assigns tasks to other members in the department, as required or needed. Under Standard Operating Equipment (SOE), supports end users to include; troubleshooting locally and over the phone. Contributes to the documentation and coordination of desktop installation and problem resolution procedures using both manual and help desk software based systems.Additional responsibilities or tasks may be given by management as needed or required by the business. QUALIFICATIONS  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Oracle application support experience in Order Management, Distribution and Finance modules Understanding of interdependencies of Oracle Applications module functionality Oracle implementation or upgrade experience Working knowledge of Oracle setups including functional module setups, profile options, and functional module interfaces Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments Strong analytical, and problem solving skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop tools Knowledge of application configuration management procedures Ability to work in a dynamic team environment Willingness to learn different business applications and support. Ability to use already existing knowledge ware and augmenting such knowledge ware in the support function.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE An associate degree with focus on information technology is required. A four year degree is preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years experience in the support of Oracle Application in a 100 user environment. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Microsoft/Oracle training or certification desirable.
