Medical Equipment Sales
Description
One of the medical industry's leading providers of medical capital equipment and affiliated disposable product is seeking an hospital-based experienced Account Executive to call on Surgeons, Nurses, and Hospital Administrators to sell products used for acute-care patients.
The territory is based in theFrederick (Western MD)area.
The sales and servicing of the products is done with the co-operative efforts of clinical specialists ( i.e. nurses ), making for a Team Approach . Compensation includes a salary of $60,000 , plus a commission plan that is designed to produce an income of $140,000, at plan.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, a minimum of three years of documented sales success in the hospital setting. Capital equipment experience is critical. The ability to relate effectively to both surgeons, nursing and administrative personnel is essential. Nurses who have experience in sales or in clinical specialist's role are encouraged to apply. This is an ideal position for someone looking to transition from hospital pharmaceuticals or medical disposables, to capital equipment.
