Marketing Specialist

Successful Healthcare Communications Company is seeking a MARKETING SPECIALIST to assist the VP of Marketing.  The Marketing Specialist is responsible for market research, including surveying our customers through personal communication as well as general competitive market research available through a variety of research methodologies.  The Marketing Specialist is also responsible for organizing and facilitating webinars, including solicitation of participants, initiation and potential delivery of content as well as customer follow-up.  Additionally, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for all trade show support from start to finish.  This includes scheduling trade shows, scheduling equipment delivery, securing additional equipment and displays and ensuring correct marketing collateral is available within the financial and time budgets established by Marketing.  The Marketing Specialist is also responsible for PR development and placement.  Additional general marketing duties are also within the purview of the Marketing Specialist.

 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the VP of Marketing. Compose and type business letters and emails, make travel arrangements. Research and create industry white papers demonstrating the value of company products.  Execute direct mailings for various new product offerings and /or trade show events.  Track results of direct mailings and magazine advertising and calculate ROI’s. Coordination of numerous National Trade Shows, including equipment selection, booth design and layout, ordering show services, on site trade show set up and execution, as well as sales representation at trade shows.

Qualified applicants will possess the following skills: BS in Marketing or equivalent experience preferred. 1-2 years of marketing research experience preferred. 1-2 years of marketing communications experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Microsoft Office Professional Proficiency. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. A desire to provide outstanding customer service at all times. A positive attitude. Ability and desire to travel to customer sites and national trade shows. Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
