Division: Cardiovascular Division (CVD) Location: Maple Grove, MN 55311 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Engineering Career Level:Experienced (Non-Manager) Company:St. Jude Medical Manufacturing Engineer II This position will provide engineering support for the Maple Grove Product Lines, which includes Venture / Strada. Responsibilities include improving consistency and repeatability of the manufacturing yield and throughput, identifying manufacturing improvements by analyzing and trending data, and working on projects transitioning into manufacturing. Other duties include writing validations, initiating engineering change orders (ECO), dispositioning MRD’s and justifying capital equipment. You will be working closely with production operators, supervisors, technicians, and other engineers in a team environment. Candidates must possess strong problem solving/troubleshooting abilities, high attention to detail, able to handle multiple priorities, and provide work direction to technicians and the production group.Preferred experience includes medical device manufacturing with an emphasis in plastic / catheter based processing and assembly.Education and/or Experience: B.S. Engineering/Science degree and 3-5 years experience working in GMP, ISO, or FDA regulated environments.
