Job Description Manager, Manufacturing & Sustaining Engineer Our client is a leader in providing laser and light-based systems to the aesthetic market. Currently they are seeking a Manager, Manufacturing & Sustaining Engineer to join their team of professionals! Key responsibilities: Oversee all manufacturing engineering activities: Design transfer of new product from engineering to manufacturing Development of all WI and TI for manufacturing Troubleshoot and provide technical support for the manufacturing floor Participate in new product introductions: Determine Service needs Review Design Provide Service input to Engineering Oversee reliability improvement effort with ROI justifications Responsibilities include: Weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings on failures, trending, assignment of action items and tracking improvements. Overseeing topical meetings on specific action items Design Change authority for released product (Testing, V&V, ECO, Implementation) Developing Annual Reliability Improvement Plan (Focus efforts, calculate ROI, set targets) Materials management responsibility of any change implemented with access to the manufacturing build schedule, as well as the Service forecast. Position requirements:  BS in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 8+ years of related engineering/management experience and a minimum of 3 years of related experience within the medical device industry.
