MCC Sales Representative - Midwest
MAQUET, Inc. has an immediate opening for a MCC Sales Representative-North Dakota/South Dakota/Minnesota/Wisconsin/Northern Iowa.
LOCATION: Field Sales
POSITION REPORTS TO: Regional Sales Manager
Requirements:
Should have 5+ years experience in:
· Outside sales of medical devices or clinical customer support
· Relevant hospital environment and/or related product sales
EDUCATION:
Undergraduate degree and/or certification relevant to assigned product segment:
· Ventilation/anesthesia/monitoring – respiratory therapy/nursing
Must have training in quality systems (FDA regulation) requirements.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for sales and support of MAQUET products to both existing and potential customer base in their assigned territory. Key objectives are: to increase MAQUET market share; develop and encourage strong customer relationships and build brand loyalty and customer satisfaction. Must be able to plan, prioritize, monitor, and track all sales cycle events. Responsible to identify required resources to effectively position MAQUET during sales and support process. Will be responsible for creating strategic selling business plans for all customer opportunities. Shall track, report and analyze sales opportunity with the RSM on a routine basis. Responsible for forecasting, monitoring, closing and post sales support of all territory business. Where possible, should promote all MAQUET product offerings including all equipment lines, training programs and service contracts. Adherence to all quality regulations is mandatory.
Activities Include:
· Marketing / selling equipment to installed base as upgrades or replacement.
· Marketing equipment to new customer to replace competitions installed base.
· Lead follow-up, sales planning, territory management, manage or complete product demonstration events and assist in installation and post sales support.
· Directly responsible for monitoring and reporting customer satisfaction, support or issues with RSM and / or responsible Maquet employee.
· Monitoring and updating individual forecasted sales data on weekly basis with focus on accuracy and completeness of data.
· Responsible for meeting individual order and sales targets as provided by MCC Management
· Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
SKILLS:
Essential skills are: excellent communication and listening skills; interpersonal skills; and self-directed organizational skills and be self motivated and directed to achieve assigned goals. Must be able to prioritize and multi-task in a highly demanding matrix environment. Must function well in a team selling approach. Must be able to develop strategic sales plans for all required sales opportunities.
Technical skills include use of MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Word. Able to adapt to new computer applications such as CRM.
Product skills include understanding and use of products in assigned product segment.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
