Lean Sensei

We currently have an opportunity for a Lean Sensei to work with various segments of the organization implementing and teaching lean principles to business processes and customers.

. 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

· Implement within the organization the lean methodology to bring significant cost savings.

· Conduct Kaizen events and complete activities to transform value streams.

· Coach and train improvement project team members on the lean tools and application to manufacturing and transactional processes.

· Develop and lead the program at our customers, “At the Customer for the Customer�.

· Work with executives, managers, and individual contributors to demonstrate the value of the Fenwal Production System.

· Develop the lean class materials to teach with the organization.

· Complete lean projects with the organization at the same time teaching the organization to “fish�.

· Mentor Continuous Improvement Leaders and Continuous Improvement Champions.

 

Requires:

 

· Bachelor’s degree in related field; technical degree preferred

· Hands on implementation experience in Lean

· Lean manufacturing and Lean transactional experience

· User & Teacher level skills in Value Stream mapping, standard work, SMED, TPM, Error proofing, 5S, Material Pull Systems, Variation Reduction, Transactional Process Improvement

· User level skills in six sigma roadmap and tool box

· Operational experience of meeting objectives

· Excellent written & oral presentation skills

· Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, & Minitab mid-level user skills

· Medical Device experience a plus

· Developing continuous improvement programs at the customer a plus

· Ability to travel 50%
