DescriptionJob Description Medline Industries, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Lead Technical Recruiter located in the Mundelein facility. The Technical Recruiter will develop and implement recruitment strategies that drive Medline as an employer of choice and ensure effectiveness in attracting, selecting, and integrating technical talent at all levels of Medline’s Information Services (IS) Department. The Technical Recruiter will also support the IT staff with various HR related concerns. This individual will also serve as the liaison between the Human Resources Department and the IS Department, answering questions regarding benefits, company policies and maintaining positive employee relations through the development/implementation of various retention programs. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid education or background in recruiting and employee relations and a desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a roll-up your sleeves attitude. Required Skills The challenging responsibilities of the position include: * Develop new recruitment strategies to hire quality technical talent in order to meet the staffing needs of the IS department and assist Human Resources with recruitment as necessary. * Establish internal and external job postings for job openings. * Identify and utilize multiple and cost effective recruitment tools. * Review resumes and applications, conduct interviews, make reference and background checks, administer assessment testing, coordinate offer letters, offer presentation and follow up correspondence. * Conduct college/university recruiting. * Provides guidance and accountability for all hiring managers to ensure a consistent, high quality process is followed. * Make recommendations of the best qualified candidates and assist with final decision process. * Data entry of candidate’s information into an applicant tracking system. * Develops and maintains deep knowledge of Medline’s HR policies. * Oversee record keeping related to IS Department new hires, promotions, transfers, corrective action and exit interviews. * Prepares and presents hiring statistics. * Partner with IS management to develop and implement retention strategies.Required Experience In return, Medline offers a business casual, entrepreneurial work environment with strong growth potential; a competitive compensation package; along with a complete benefits package including medical/dental/vision/life insurance; education assistance; 401(k) with company match and much more!The required skills for this position are: * 4 year college degree with a focus in HR, MIS, Business Administration, or related field * 3-5 years of technical recruiting experience. * Previous experience in a Human Resources environment. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. * Working knowledge of an HRIS system. * Ability to understand and explain company policies and benefits. * Ability to build rapport with the management team and staff. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Self motivated with an ability to handle multiple priorities in an efficient manner.Medline Industries, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action and Drug Free Employer.
