Position Description:Inventory SpecialistIf you like to work in a customer focused environment, and enjoy working the day shift for a company that offers great benefits, this may be the job for you. Duties: The Inventory Specialist will perform a variety of duties including:Material Handling• Stock inventory items• Transact Bin issues in ERP system• Fax KANBAN Sheets• Contact Vendors on overdue product• Fill daily sales orders• Transact FG product into ERP systemShipping• Prepare daily shipments of sales and miscellaneous request• Daily cycle counts• Issue call tags and track shipments as necessaryReceiving• Receive and stock inventory items delivered• Match receiving documentation to Purchase Orders• Communicate shipment shortages to Purchasing Department• Daily cycle countsQualifications: Position requires High school diploma or equiv, and one year experience, dependable, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple priorities, good verbal & written communication skills & able to use EXCEL. Experience with forklift operation, MRP/ERP systems & manufacturing preferred.Equal Opportunity Employer
