Inventory Analyst

Manufacturing/Production/Operations       Total Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Job Description Summary of PositionStrong manufacturing and MRP knowledge. Monitors, analyzes and reports on plant wide inventory transactions. Analysis and root cause determination for slow & non moving inventory, cycle counts and material posting exceptions. Create and train plant on SOP’s related to inventory control. Lead initiatives and teams to identify inventory discrepancies. Lead cycle count program and annual physical inventory program.Essential Functions1. Extensive working knowledge of MRP business systems, ideally BPCS2. Create SOPs in order to enhance plant inventory operations3. Ability to lead cross functional teams as an individual contributor4. Run queries, analyze, graph and report out on results5. Manage inventory turns and work with purchasing and planning to evaluate and gain control6. Prepare weekly warehouse cycle counts7. Lead annual physical inventory program8. Identify and reconcile inventories9. Evaluate and assist planning with management of finished good inventory10. Team leader11. Assist purchasing and planning with metric tracking and reporting12.
