Plans, develops, and administers policies and programs relating to all phases of human resources activity to include Employment, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Training, and HRIS by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Maintain the ABRA applicant tracking system. Identifies areas for improvement in employee programs and policies. Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Conducts salary surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate. Assists in the preparation and tracking of the budget of human resources operations. Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations. Prepares reports and recommends policies or procedures relative to employment activity, employee relations, terminations, head count, cost per hire, source per hire, and compensation. Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.Investigates and documents employee relations issue as needed. Recruits, screens, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions, as needed. Works to fill needs for temporary employees on an as-needed basis. Works on various projects as it relates to the development of new programs. Researches and recommends various policies, procedures and programs. May develop and write policies and procedures. Must possess a minimum of three years of related Human Resources experience at a professional level. Experience with the development and maintenance of Human Resources programs in the area of benefits, compensation and employee relations. Experience with recruiting at both the exempt and Non-exempt level as well as exposure to Internet recruiting. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Human Resources Certificate or PHR or SPHR certification preferred. ResMed is an equal opportunity employer.
