Position Description:
This position is responsible for promoting the HR objectives and values by providing outstanding support and consultation to managers and employees in the Global Field Organization on matters related to HR policies and procedures. Position is responsible for the following within assigned business areas:•Understand and communicate the purpose and process of multiple employee programs and HR policies and procedures.•Facilitate effective resolution of employee questions and issues in a timely and professional manner.•Act as a liaison between employee, managers and third party administrators and HR team, as necessary, to resolve less complex employee issues and respond to questions, within assigned business areas.•Lead Employee Satisfaction initiatives within assigned business areas to include identifying trends, conducting focus groups, analyzing data, providing recommendations and follow-up.•Primary facilitator of training sessions for HR processes, programs and initiatives. •Facilitate specific HR programs including new employee orientation, employee exit process and learning and development programs•Serve as a point of contact for employee inquires regarding HR matters; i.e., policies, procedures, benefits, etc. for assigned business areas•Support the improvement and execution of programs including performance management, employee satisfaction and employee development.•Build relationships and interact with all levels of employees to raise employee satisfaction and effectiveness across the company.Technical/Behavioral Requirements:1) Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field or Human Resources required.2) Overall 3 to 5 years of experience with 1-3 years experience in Human Resources with an understanding of HR best practices, programs, functions, and methodology required. A strong emphasis on employee relations preferred.3)1-3 years facilitating group programs and developing and giving formal presentations.4)3-5 years experience dealing directly with customers. 5) Effective verbal & written communication skills and the ability to interact and deal with employees at all levels of the organization.6) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications with particular emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.7) Ability to build effective working relationships through negotiation, mediation, persuasion and consensus building. 8) Proven history of making decisions and adhering to a code of ethics and values. 9. Proven ability to demonstrate at minimum, MEDRAD’s Team Contributor competencies: Action Oriented, Perseverance, Dealing with Ambiguity, Learning on the fly and Problem Solving.10) Willingness to work off-shifts in multiple plant locations as necessary.
