Global Sales Training Manager Interventional Oncology

More information can be found at www.covidien.com SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Global Sales Training Manager Interventional Oncology position will include design, development, implementation, assessment, and updates of learning content required for Field Sales Representatives and Regional Managers within the Energy-based Devices (Interventional Oncology) Sales Organization. This position requires collaboration with members of the sales and marketing organizations regionally and globally to assure appropriate training linked to business needs and able to work within budgeted guidelines.The Global Sales Training Manager (I/O) will support Global Sales Training in achieving its world wide strategy and business objectives.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Develop, manage, and deliver all sales training programs applicable for the FSO• Participate in Regional meetings when needed• Monitor and assess on-going developmental needs of Sales Representatives• Develop and maintain sound working relationships with management throughout the business and our corporate partners • Continuously upgrades own training knowledge and skills base• Contributes to the strategic development of the training department and its function• Functions in Team environment to support colleagues, departments, and businesses• Align training modules to our International market• Create and develop all training material including ppt, manuals, role plays, exams, clinical and procedural selling elements• Create and develop CBT content for pre-course and tenured sales force training• Manage recertification events world wide• Develop extra programs as requiredDEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation, for example creating and developing presentations for world wide use.2. Work/Liaise closely with Regional Training (EMEA & Asia-Pac) groups to ensure uptake of curriculums.3. Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education required/ preferred: College Degree in Education, Business or related fieldExperience: 3 to 5 years Sales and/or Sales Management experienceExperience in an office environment interfacing with various departments, including upper level management. Proficient in the use of MS Office, multi-media and distance learning. Experience in educational infrastructure in large scale projects.Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Excellent in self management and remote workingAble to work on collaborative projectsSkills/Competencies: Excellent verbal and written skills, able to communicate at an international level. Self motivated and able to direct own work Good research abilitiesOther Skills: Demonstrate ability to collaborate, prioritize, delegate and obtain solid resultsAll employees are expected to pay attention to and work in support of a safe and healthy work environment.
