Global Continous Monitoring Product Manager

Location: Beaverton, OR, ORDepartment: Relocation Provided: YesEducation Required: Bachelors DegreeExperience Required: 6 - 10 yearsPosition Description:You will be responsible for managing & executing upstream marketing activities globally for our Continuous Patient Monitoring products, including supporting/driving the new product road-mapping function. This will include market research, customer requirements gathering, feature definition, and ultimately the successful migration & integration of the current portfolio of products onto the new Welch Allyn unified diagnostic solutions platform. Serving as an internal expert on issues and opportunities within the acute care continuous monitoring market (ICU, Telemetry, ED, etc.) and with key clinicians in these spaces you will ensure optimal trade-offs are made in new product development, leading to the commercial success of the Continuous Monitoring product line. You will play a leadership role in the launching of new products worldwide. You will also support all marketing and sustaining (current product) engineering activities on this very broad product line which is so critical to Welch Allyn's past, present, and future profitability & success.Position Requirements:This role requires the ability to make effective trade-off decisions, build high quality business cases, and ensure that known and previously unidentified customer needs are defined and met in the platform product development process. Outstanding organizational, communication, and collaborative skills across product category & engineering lines are essential. You must also have direct experience in, and solid working knowledge of, Continuous Patient Monitoring devices, systems, parameters, and workflows, preferably in mid-to-high acuity areas of the worldwide hospital markets. A B.S. or B.A. in marketing, business or a related technical field is required, as is related sales or marketing experience, within the Continous Monitoring product category. An MBA is preferred. This includes management of the product lifecycle function, selection/conceptual testing/market evaluation & clinical trials of new products, and commercial implementation of new products including establishing pricing, generating global forecasts, preparing product launch materials, and conducting training etc..Additional Information: Travel Percentage: 30%
