Globally positioned has manufacturing facilities in several domestic and international markets. We have an immediate opportunity in our Parsippany, NJ territory for:Financial AnalystResponsibilities: Assist in the publication of monthly/quarterly/ year end financial reporting packages. Prepare/forecast monthly balance sheet and income statement for various Business Reporting Units within RDD. Assist in daily/monthly forecasting of Working Capital Management for various Business Reporting Units. Assist in the design and preparation of yearly budgets. Review cost center expenses versus budget and explain significant variances; assist department managers to better forecast their expenses. Do adhoc financial analysis. Do project feasibility evaluation to help Management make sound business decisions and track results. Assist in audits, internal and external, and maintain documents for conformance to the Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Identify ways to minimize corporate tax liability in accordance with current tax laws. Provide timely information to the operations of the business to help quantify the impact of cost saving initiatives and help drive improvements in our cost structure. Audit inventory transactions for accuracy. Oversee the development and maintenance of standard cost estimates for all products. Analyze production costs and recommend changes. Perform monthly manufacturing variance and inventory analysis by product line. Prepare and monitor excess and obsolete inventory reserves. Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules.Requirements: BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. Minimum 3 years experience in cost accounting or related accounting function. Capable of using various tools in Excel to manipulate data for various types of financial analysis. Strong spreadsheet experience with Excel. Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, principles, practices and procedures.
