Field Service Technician
VIVID IMAGING is looking to fill several field service positions within the Norfolk/Virginia Beach/Newport News, VA (collectively Hampton Roads) area.
Position: Field Service Technician, Entry Level – FS0808
Employment Type: Full Time
Travel: 75%
Entry Level Compensation: 35,000-39,000 (Annual)

Requirements:
Education: Minimum - Associate's degree in Electronics, Computer Science or a related field, Preferred BA/BS (4 year) Degree in engineering, information technology or related field.
Effective listening and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK
Working knowledge of inventory management ideology
Effective planning, organizing and attention to detail skills
Proven customer focus, selling and promoting skills
Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills
Proven adaptability in a changing work environment
Basic use skills on electro-mechanical and hand-tools
Proven initiative and follow-through skills
Proven ability to operate electronic test equipment
Must successfully pass random drug testing
Good driving record (12 months violation free, no history of DUI)
Able to successfully pass criminal background screening
Able to qualify for company issued credit card (requires good personal credit)
Able to successfully work in a health care provider environment
Able to submit to regular random drug testing (required)
Able to lift 75 pounds
Able to travel within the contiguous 48 states via commercial aircraft
Able to travel internationally for training
Valid Passport is required for employment
Position Description:
The responsibility of this position is to provide field service support to our clients. Primary duties include: performing preventive & corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of contrast injector systems. Additional duties include: promoting Service Department Programs and providing telephone technical support and product information to our customers and distributors, assisting Sales and Applications staff with demo equipment installation and in-service support, processing work order documentation and maintaining inventory control of assigned tools, parts and equipment. This position is travel intensive and requires a five year employment commitment.
