We have an immediate opportunity in our Pittsburgh, PA territory for:Enterprise Data Architect/Program ManagerThis is a senior level position on the Enterprise Architecture and Application Development Team within Corporate Information Technology Services (ITS). The person in this role will be responsible for designing, implementing and sustaining the Enterprise Data Management Program (EDMP).Responsibilities: Develop the formal charter for the Enterprise Data Management Program, ensuring consistency with Philips Healthcare and HHS objectives Create and maintain the work plan for on-going EDMP activities Define the project road map for EDMP, with specific, measurable goals Define the role of data stewards within the enterprise outlining responsibilities of this new position Facilitate and lead workshops to promote, execute, and support the enterprise data management strategy Implement master data consolidation, harmonization, syndication, or centralized maintenance solutions, as appropriate to meet enterprise standards and business requirements for various master data objects Assist business-unit teams with EDMP activities and drive consistent progress toward established goals Assist enterprise data stewards, production support teams, and business analysts with identifying and resolving data quality issues Effectively educate trainers and ensure the appropriate training of all data stewards Lead data migration projects, or data migration activities associated with other projects Define and maintain architecture principles, guidelines, and standards for enterprise data Lead the effort to design, develop, acquire, and implement the appropriate technology solutions to enable and enhance enterprise data managementRequirements: Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or engineering. SAP-related professional certification or demonstrated experience a plus Understanding, through formal education, experience, or professional training, of sales, planning, MRP, finance, warehousing, and purchasing concepts and how they are related Minimum 10 years in information technology, business requirements analysis, system design, application development, or enterprise applications implementation and support Extensive knowledge of, and at least 5 years comprehensive SAP R/3 application architecture, configuration, development, and/or operations experience, especially SD/SM, FI/CO, MM/PP, QM, and HR modules, all relevant master data objects and effective data management practices in the SAP R/3 environment Technical familiarity with enterprise data management tools and techniques, including SQL and enterprise DBMS platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) Hands-on master data management tools and data quality toolsAt Respironics Inc., our products improve the lives of patients with a variety of respiratory needs in the hospital, homecare, critical care and neonatal environments.
