We are currently seeking an Engineering Manager who will have the responsibility for the development of Automated Assembly Equipment to support the Preanalytical Medical Products Business. The incumbent will search, identify and develop Manufacturing Equipment for high speed automated product assembly and support the worldwide business with equipment technology that provides competitive advantage.Â
 This position will lead the activities for Continuous Improvement of Manufacturing as it relates to process design and equipment design with the application of best practices. The successful candidate will coordinate, lead and promote process technology sharing across multiple manufacturing sites.Â
 In addition, this role is responsible to identify and develop appropriate technologies from outside sources, related industries, and vendors to drive innovative improvements and initiate changes as they relate to high speed assembly automation.Â
 The position will manage several project engineers and will support the equipment procurement process from Product Design through Commercial Scale production. The incumbent will use practices and methods to improve the commercialization process including Design for Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.  Â
 Requirements include a BS in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years experience in High Speed Automation and Assembly Engineering; training and/or certification in Six Sigma and/or Design for Manufacturing, familiarity with FDA/GMP requirements and Validation, excellent communication skills and demonstrated management and leadership experience.Â
