What Manufacturing Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health
Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for developing manufacturing processes, production floor layouts and associated tools. Reviews new designs for manufacturability. Designs process improvements to reduce product cost, process cycle time and improved product quality.
What is expected of you for success in your roleDemonstrates basic knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering principles and technologies Supports the development of new and troubleshooting of existing manufacturing processes and equipment under the direction of others Analyzes product designs for Manufacture, Assembly and Serviceability (DFMA/DFS) under the direction of others Supports the design, execution and documentation of FMEA, process validation and testing in accordance with cGMP's under the direction of others

Design forging tooling and machining fixtures per customer model and drawings.
QualificationsMust have strong Unigraphics NX modeling, freeform and drafting skills.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field required. 0-2 years related work experience required. Have good understanding of geometric tolerance.CNC programming experience preferred.Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as a member of a team.
