Documentation Specialist

This includes: maintaining product structures, entering and updating electronic item data, routing and processing changes, filing completed change history packages and distributing document copies. This individual will ensure that changes to documentation comply with the quality related procedures. The Specialist will implement corrective and preventive actions as applicable. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the documentation index and coordinating off-site document archiving (storage and retrieval).QualificationsThe successful candidate is required to have 2-5 years secretarial or clerical experience. Ability to interact with company personnel from diverse disciplines is required.Good organization skills, attention to detail and proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is definitely required. Ability to work under minimal supervision is necessary. Previous experience managing electronic files is preferred. This individual should enjoy a fast-paced work environment. Experience working in an FDA regulated environment is preferred. 2 - 5 years Secretarial/Clerical experienceAbbott welcomes and encourages diversity in our workforce.
