Other responsibilities include:R  Directs all activities of the Product Management Department including the direct supervision of the Product Management Staff and associated administrative personnel  Recommends changes in organization of product marketing group to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives and provide the flexibility to move swiftly in relation to marketing problems and opportunities R  Works closely with Director of Portfolio Management to ensure unified effort on new product development priorities and activitiesR  Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long rangeR  Ensures effective control of marketing results and takes corrective action when necessary to redirect strategy within designated budgetsR  Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on and the effects of competitive activity may be minimizedR  Regularly maintains and updates global master market models to ensure contemporary assessment of market sizes, market growth, competitive market share positions, and share positions by product attribute R  Keeps abreast of competitive pricing tactics on a global basis and develops and recommends pricing strategy for the organization on an annual basis which will result in net financial benefit to the companyR  Manages regular development and distribution of competitive bulletins on issues to include but not limited to new products, new procedures, and competitive initiativesR  Collaborating with Marketing Communications, develops marketing support materials and campaigns to maximize sales growth potential for commercialized products R  Conceive, develop, and implement multi-faceted marketing campaigns in support of new products launchesR  Generate new product forecasts to support launch requirementsR  Collaborating with Sales Training Manager, develop content and actively participate in sales training processR  Working with Portfolio Management, define new product development priorities for each product segment  R  Participate in the generation of business case analyses to support development of new products, establishment of distribution scenarios, or acquisition of product technologiesR  Engage in regular field travel to help define and refine customer requirements  Requirements:R  Bachelor’s degree (BBA or Bachelor of Science in Marketing) R  Master’s Degree (MBA or Master of Science in Marketing). R  7+ years of Marketing Management experience.
