PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Develop conceptual and detailed designs and drawings. Develop product designs and prototypes from customer concepts and/or specs. Support documentation and prototype fabrication of designed products. Test assemblies and sub assemblies characterized in technical specifications. Maintain documentation on various assigned projects. Interface with clients and suppliers. Run engineering studies on components to meet design parameters for verification an validation. Job Requirements: Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Project, Excel and Work; knowledge of Quality Systems Regulations (QSR), GMP, and ISO Regulations. Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering - BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Advanced Technical Engineering degree preferred. 1-3 years experience in the medical device and/or plastic part design.  1-3 years design experience using Solid works and/or other CAD programs. We are specifically looking for catheter design and development background, preferably balloon catheters.
