Verathon Inc. is looking for a Customer Care Specialist II to become the newest member of the Customer Care Team located in our Bothell, WA headquarters.  The successful candidate will perform a variety of semi-routine and technical activities to provide quality support for customers, subsidiaries, and distributors.  Working within general supervision and established company guidelines.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

 Provide Total Customer Careâ„¢ by promoting and maintaining positive customer relations.Respond to calls and request for product, training, and general information.Processing of customer orders.Maintenances and update of databases including customer assess to ScanPoint.Issues return authorizations (RA’s) for repairs and credits under company guidelines.Research customer’s accounts receivable and assist in resolution.Troubleshoot basic equipment and software problems including assisting customers with windows applications.Provide follow up calls to customers for orders and repair approvals.Promote additional revenue by suggestive sale.Back up support for Receptionist and Fulfillment with duties from Customer Care Specialist I.Maintain logs, records, and files manually and electronically.Follow company policy and procedure.Other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 Requires a 2 year degree or equivalent experience.Three years of customer service experience.Receive and make calls in an office or call center setting.Intermediate understanding of windows operating system, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.Has prior experience in problem solving.Ability to give instructions and assist customers over the phone.Knowledge of customer service databases and prefer experience issuing return authorizations.Ability to learn products, markets, and programs.Understanding of basic accounting principles.Attention to detail with accountability for handling multiple job functions while meeting deadlines in a timely manner.Attention to detail with ability to handle multiple job functions while meeting deadlines.Excellent verbal and written English skills with ability to type 40 words per minute.Be able to lift minimum of 30 to 50 lbs.Work independently or as a team member with regular and consistent attendance required.
