Corporate Finance Associate
The Associate/Sr. Associate will provide support to team members in the Corporate Finance & Strategic Planning group, including research, analysis, reporting and presentation. He / she will conduct primary research (quantitative and qualitative) to gain insight into key strategic areas such as procedure volume, product status, customer loyalty, industry trends and pricing. He will develop, continuously, in-depth knowledge of trends, events and major players in the industry and provide insight through analysis of market factors, financial metrics and other data including accounting & information systems. He will support the corporate finance & strategy team by creating and executing various types of market research projects, analyzing and interpreting data and integrating it with marketing and sales information to help produce actionable conclusions that drive management to make informed business decisions. He will also help prepare financial reports, operating reports, and management presentations.
The position requires a low level of supervision. The analyst is expected to self-direct projects and analysis which impact the business. The analyst will need to work successfully in an unstructured organization where roles are undefined and leadership is based upon the situation.
General Experience
• Solid analytical skills, ability to interpret statistical model results
• Ability to develop financial benefit forecasts from strategic initiatives
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and client relation management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office; particularly PowerPoint and Excel
Education
• B.A. required (major in but not limited to business / finance / economics), M.B.A. preferred
• Minimum 2 - 3 years work experience
Salary = $70 - $100k depending on experience & education
