Reference Code: IRC149881 Coordinator Design Control II Kinetic Concepts, Inc. is a publicly traded (NYSE: KCI) global medical technology company based in San Antonio, Texas with direct operations in 19 countries.  With over 6,500 employees and 2007 revenues of approximately $1.61 billion, KCI is one of the fastest growing and most exciting companies in the global medical technology sector.  We design, manufacture, market and service a wide range of proprietary products which can help significantly improve clinical outcomes while helping to reduce the overall cost of patient care.  More details on KCI can be found at www.kci1.com. The Design Control Coordinator II will be responsible for coordinating the design control activities of the development projects within the Global Engineering & Technology group.  Will serve as a process and procedures authority within the new product commercialization teams to provide expertise in the implementation of KCI's design control systems. Â· Bachelor degree in Business, Technical writing, quality, or related field. · Five (5) years experience preparing technical documentation, or coordinating quality system documentation.· Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Project, and SharePoint.  Other Qualifications:  Â· Demonstrated organizational skills, significant project management and multi-tasking. · Experience in regulated design environments (FDA medical devices preferred)· Demonstrated ability to follow engineering/product discussions.· Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service oriented attitude. · conveying a positive, service oriented attitude. · Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to both technical and non-technical audiences. · Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.· Preferably relevant medical device or drug development, diagnostics, FDA or ISO regulated work experience.· Preferably experience in medical product design and development.
