Clinical Training Manager

ResMed’s Learning Center is dedicated to providing training and resources to all ResMed employees. The Clinical Training Manager is responsible for overseeing, facilitating, and assisting in the development of internal clinical and product training to all new and existing ResMed employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Â§ Working closely to partner with other departments such as clinical education, product management, business development, etc.Facilitation of clinical and product training to all levels of ResMed employees including Executive and Senior level positions, Territory Sales Managers, Regional Clinical Specialists, Product managers, Etc.§ Maintains a high degree of knowledge about ResMed products, competitive products and stays informed of the current trends etc. in the sleep and respiratory medicine fields.§ Maintains professional competence by attending conferences and training seminars as necessary.§ Ability to sustain a high level of energy and facilitate programs of varying lengths including 1-2 week sessions.§ Ability to train others on how to position products, services, or ideas; leverages supportive factors, overcomes or minimizes barriers, and addresses unique needs and preferences of key decision makers.§ Provides instruction, positive models, and opportunities for observation in order to help others develop skills.Has a clear working knowledge of the consultative sales process. § Gives individuals specific feedback on their performance related to established goals; highlights key positive and negative performance issues; adjusts plans to ensure development.§ Tracks the performance of individual trainees throughout the training program. § Establishes interpersonal relationships by helping trainees feel valued, appreciated, and included in discussions.§ Keeps the audience engaged through use of techniques such as analogies, illustrations, an appealing style, body language, and voice inflection.§ Seeks input from audience; checks understanding; presents message in different ways to enhance understanding. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree- B.S. or B.A. Significant experience in public speaking and classroom facilitation.
