Clinical Research Associate

General SummaryThis position would work hand in hand with the OEM clinical groups, project teams and customers in defining how injectors and scanners should work together to bring clinical and efficiency benefits to end users. These efforts are directly related to product development and provide input to the designs of new products.Principal Duties and Responsibilities1. Develop Clinical Use Cases2. Works directly with OEM applications personnel to ensure optimal integration and performance between injectors and scanners3. Determine appropriate injector protocols4. Help OEM’s define combined scanner / injector settings for specific examinations5. Participate in pre-release testing of products6. Discover additional clinical benefits derived from the full integration of injector and scanner7. Participate in clinical trials8. Participates in Voice of Customer activities9. Assists in definition of requirements documents10. Participates in and/or guides product validation activities11. Provides clinical input to development activities such as Risk Analyses, FMEA’s, Design Reviews, Reviews of labeling & manualsRequirements: Job Requirements1. Registered Technologist as certified by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology)2. Has experience performing imaging procedures (ie. CT or MR procedures)3. 5 years of clinical experience (at least 3 years as a CT tech)4. Has an understanding of injector protocols for specific studies5. BSRT degree preferred6. Must have excellent written and verbal skills.7.
