AMS has 2 openings for a Clinical Education Specialist - NJ/NY area and NW region of United States. The role will provide technical support and clinical training on AMS technology and equipment to physicians, clinical staff, institutions, and the regional sales teams, as appropriate. Responsibilities include providing relevant feedback to the corporation on current market activities, training needs, device/technology considerations, business opportunities as well as significant new technical information.
Consultation for Physicians and Institutions*
· Provide in-service on technology and equipment to the OR staff prior to the urological procedure
· Provide technical assistance to the physician/surgical team to expedite the procedure and facilitate the safe and effective clinical application of the product and technology
· Provide safe and effective use of AMS technology based on appropriate instruction, education, training, service and technical support
· Act as a clinical and technical resource for the region by observing clinically or technically challenging procedures
Training of AMS Personnel*
· Work with sales training and sales management to assist in new hire product and clinical training on AMS products and technology
· Deliver technical presentations at regional and national sales meetings
· Assist sales force in presentations to physicians or other professional groups, as requested
· Provide assistance with initial field training of new sales representative(s) and other field staff
· Provide technical support regarding products and technology to internal and external customers
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree, RN or Physicians Assistant
· Two plus years of medical device or Operating Room experience required.
· Urological and /or gynecological experience, with surgical and physician preference products and product knowledge
· Exposure to marketing strongly preferred
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Presentation skills
