This position will be responsible for the following:Operational Efficiency (40%)Manage the logistics and warehouse departments for the branch to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services. Ensure warehouse stock is appropriate and all aspects of inventory integrity. Help resolves issues regarding staff shortages, routes, loading of equipment and delivery. May interact with referral sources and patients on a regular basis. Develop and implement new procedures to improve productivity and cut costs in the branch distribution function.Company Policies, Procedures and Regulatory Compliance (25%)Ensure all warehouse equipment in stock is in compliance with D.O.T., FDA and The Joint Commission regulations, including maintenance of appropriate logs and files. Provide training sessions for subordinate staff to ensure compliance. Establish and maintain policies and procedures for handling equipment orders and delivery, transportation maintenance and documentation of any incident that occurred. Inform staff of any regulatory changes.Supervision/Staff Development (20%)Responsible for hiring, coaching, performance appraisal and disciplinary action of subordinate staff and creation/development of succession planning. Ensure project deadlines and performance standards are established and met. Primarily supervise 2-4 exempt employees and 15-30 non-exempt.Customer Service/Satisfaction (15%)Respond to telephone calls from patients, referral sources, vendors and delivery employees regarding equipment orders, patient problems and delivery employee incidents.
