Associate Product Mgr

This marketing position is key in the cross-functional integration of operations, sales and marketing.  In general this position contributes to and ensures that product life-cycle marketing plans are implemented and monitored.  Key task are:

 

1) Implementation of marketing plans that include customer and sales incentive programs.  Programs will be monitored by this position and work with regional marketing managers to determine ROI. 

 

2) Provide market input and validation of an unconstrained U.S. demand forecast; the position drives a monthly planning process that includes: gathering market intelligence and performing other business-critical analysis as necessary.

 

 

3) Serve as a liaison between the business, field team and downstream operational functions including Production Control and Logistics, Manufacturing and Distribution.

Execute and monitor results of marketing and sales programs

 

Execute product enhancements and new product rollout plans

 

Fine tune product sales forecast and analyze forecast accuracy data

 

Provide support to the field team. 

This position requires a blend of diverse skills including technical expertise, business acumen, interpersonal and leadership skills.  Specifically:

 

 Â· Minimum 2 years of overall business experience.

 Â· Familiarity with product life-cycle concepts and an understanding of the interrelationship between forecasting, Sales, Finance, Operations, Production Planning, distribution and Manufacturing.

 Â· Analytical skills are required to analyze data, identify issues, and drive improvements.

 Â· Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing data-based decision-making; will require  conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

 Â· Strong computer skills,  spreadsheet application, report writing and presentation tools.

 Â· Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

 Â· B.A. or B.S. degree in business or other technical discipline preferred.

 Â· Multi-Lingual skills a plus.
