Associate Director, Consumer Marketing

If you are looking for a stimulating, fast paced work environment focused on being the best and offering world class scientific facilities and resources, this is the company for you. Our client is seeking a qualified candidate to drive the delivery of consumer marketing services which meet the needs of both internal and external customers.  Responsibilities include: overseeing consumer marketing communications departmental processes and procedures; assisting in the strategic oversight of the organization’s advertising and promotion activities, both print and electronic; creating internal communications strategy to support service orientation and cross-functional collaboration; managing, organizing and coordinating assigned professional programs to ensure accomplishment of financial/budgetary goals; researching, analyzing and monitoring financial, technological and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize the effects of competitive activity; personnel management of consumer marketing managers, graphic, and production staff and directing them in the execution of creative strategies for the organization. Successful candidates must have these minimum capabilities to be considered for this position:  B.S. preferably in communications, public relations, marketing, or closely related field; MBA is preferred; minimum 5 years of experience in a consumer marketing role managing a creative team including managers, graphics, and production; minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of print media design, marketing, and production for the corporate or agency side; consumer healthcare experience required; strong communication skills both oral and written; strong understanding of global marketing and/or business practices and of global orthopaedic industry environment and competitive forces; proficient in Mac/PC graphic applications and MS Office Suite; 10% to 20% travel. Qualified candidates please reference position 1220 when submitting your resume to Tammi at search@lakecitygroup.com or fax 574-371-2535.  Resumes should be in Microsoft Word format in order to be uploaded into our database.  Please visit www.lakecitygroup.com and read our Statement of Confidentiality.  Once you have sent your resume, please complete our Career Planning Guide on our web site.
