Analytical Chemist

Esstech Inc., a fast growing manufacturer of specialty chemicals has an immediate opening for a Analytical Chemist.

 

This position involves a wide range of materials preparation and characterization work. The Analytical Chemist will perform chemical analyses, tests and investigations of products and will maintain calibration of equipment and instrumentation. Candidate must fully comply with the ISO procedures and lab safety protocols.

 

Various analytical tools and instruments will be used, including wet and chromatographic tests. The preferred candidate will have an interest in research projects & statistical data treatment. Desire an ability and enthusiasm for learning, especially where required tasks are outside of previous experience.

Requirements:

College degree in Chemistry. 0 - 2 years experience preferred.

 

Strong chromatographic skills required. Prefer candidates with knowledge of GC, HPLC, GPC, UV Vis, and particle size measurement. Skills with FT IR, TGA and rheometer are valued.

 

Excellent computer skills are paramount. Careful attention to details is required. Strong verbal and written skills needed.
