Accounting Manager

Mindray Medical USA Corp. is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager who thrives on growing within an organization that makes a difference in people’s lives. Position Overview

Responsibilities include general ledger, cost accounting, inventory, cash management, credit administration, annual budget process, and fixed assets.  Will also assist in the implementation of and be responsible for maintenance of company accounting systems and procedures.  Must execute all responsibilities with the highest level of professional ethics and integrity. Ensure that all employee and corporate information is kept confidential.

 

Specific Duties

· Prepares month-end, quarterly and annual financial reports for senior management, parent company, Board of Directors and for external reporting as requested

· Coordinate annual budgeting process, including development of budgeting systems and summarizing budget inputs

· Assists in coordinating audit program with internal and external auditors

· Implements and maintains required accounting procedures

· Participates in and recommends design specifications and software selection for company business systems.  Assists in the implementation of reporting systems

· Assists in preparing various project financial analysis, budgets, strategic plans, etc.

· Coordinates cash management investments per Company policy including coordination with parent company. Supervises cash management administration as required

· Assist in the design and implementation of Company fiscal policies and procedures

· Responsible for ensuring deposits, transfers, and withdrawals are conducted appropriately for the employee 401(k) plan

· Manages payroll service and acts as backup as needed to process payroll transactions

· Manages and directs other staff performing accounting related functions 

· Performs other duties as required

Requirements

· 5+ years related experience

· At least two years of supervisory experience

· Demonstrated ability to model a leadership style that reduces conflict and establishes collaboration and teamwork is essential

· Knowledge of SOX and GAAP required

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required

· Prior exposure to distribution process in manufacturing environment strongly preferred

· Public accounting experience preferred

· Ability to speak Mandarin a perk

· Must possess excellent analytical, critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving ability

· Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
