This is a rare opportunity to join our world class team.  As we continue to grow, Hinckley Yachts seeks boat building project managers to act as liaison with our sales staff, boat owners, and production staff on new Jet Boat options.

 

Potential candidates should have boatbuilding, boat handling and systems skills; be capable of multi-tasking; goal and customer service oriented; deadline focused; possess excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and be proficient in Microsoft applications, MRP and CAD.

 

Duties Include:

 

- Work with sales staff and new boat owners to determine Jet Boat options

- Communicate boat options to production staff including accurate order details and Bills of Material.

- Maintain tools used to support the detailing process including options lists, photo books and detailing kits used to select options, fabrics, and colors

- Conduct Jet Boat plant tours with buyers, demonstrating construction details and techniques

- Understand the Hinckley Jet Boat product, its production history, warranty issues and owner's boat locations

- Understand the contract-to-closing procedures, including communicating production dates and delivery schedules to owners and Hinckley staff

- Communicate with vendors on products used on Jet Boats

- Research related new products and offer recommendations for use

- Process model year upgrades and schedule product improvement rosters
