Human Resource Generalist
We have a full time position available that is temp to hire. Duration of temporary period could be up to three months.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide HR administrative supportServe as initial HR contact for all employees providing assistance and directions for questions and issues involving benefits, employee relations, policies, relocation, training, work comp, employee activities, and employment verificationsFacilitate employee programs and activities throughout the yearCompile monthly attendance and lost time accident reports for Ops reviewAssist with Employee Service Award programServe as liaison with temporary agency for contract employee needs/issuesProfessionally manage confidential information both internally and externallyPrepare new hire offers and paperwork, and conduct new hire orientationsAdminister and assist as needed the recruiting tool Serve as main recruiter for open positions in Limerick. Review internal and external applicants, schedule interviews, perform interviews as needed for open Limerick positionsAdminister and update Vista (new hires, terms, updates, changes, PTO, etc.) as needed for LimerickMaintain employee personnel filesCounsel employees and managers as neededPerform exit interviewsHandle complaints and conduct investigations as neededMaintain HR budget for LimerickManage and provide backup for switchboard/receptionist dutiesConduct various training sessions
Qualifications/requirements:
2+ years HR Generalist Experience
Knowledge of HR Law and knowledge and/or experience with HR practices, policies and procedures
Ability to handle multiple assignments, projects and priorities
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
Experience in a manufacturing setting a plus
Bachelors degree in Business or HR preferred
