MarineMax, the world’s largest marine retailer is searching for a high energy, extremely organized Administrative Assistant to support our Norwalk, Connecticut store.
While MarineMax features Sea Ray, Meridian, Ferretti Group products as well as other premium pleasure crafts, our focus is not on “selling” boats, but on selling the “experience” of boating. Toward that end, we both hire, and strive to develop “A” players. The ideal candidate for this exciting and challenging opportunity will possess high intelligence, outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, a supreme work ethic, independent decision-making ability and a team player attitude are also a must.
Other requirements include strong proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and previous administrative support experience in a fast paced sales environment is a must. We are looking for someone to attend boat shows and getaways, assist with our service and marketing team and also handle the reception area. Strong customer service skills are necessary for this position. Ability to work weekends is also required.
