Workplace Sales Consultant
Steelcase is in the office furniture industry – in fact, we’re the global leader – but we’re in the business of creating inspiring spaces that help people love how they work. We’ve been around for nearly 100 years but we’re not afraid to change with the times.
Â
Steelcase has 14,000 employees, multiple manufacturing plants and sales offices, plus dealers in more than 800 places around the world. We’re small enough to know you but big enough to offer you many different ways to learn and grow. Last year, we sold more than $3 billion worth of architecture, furniture and technology products.
Â
To focus on generating new business through the Architectural and Design community, Steelcase is looking for a Workplace Consultant in Seattle, Washington. This is a high-performance front-line sales position focused on supporting the design community and their clients. The successful candidate will have expert interpersonal skills, the capability to manage regional, national and at times global relationships with the firm, and extensive managerial skills are necessary for coordination of large projects using a multi-disciplined team approach. In addition, time management skills, organization skills, and the ability to work without supervision is essential to be successful in this role.
Â
Educational/Experience:
·        Four- year degree in business or equivalent.Â
·        Minimum of 5 years design or related experience.
Â
Steelcase offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package, including profit sharing. To learn more about our company, visit our website at www.steelcase.com. Steelcase strongly supports a diverse workplace and welcomes all applicants. For consideration, please e-mail your resume and cover letter to lshirley@steelcase.com .
