Working Maintenance Technician/Supervisor
This is a working supervisor's position. Individuals that
do not plan on actively working hands-on need not apply.
We are currently looking for an experienced
Maintenance Technician/Supervisor who will be
responsible for the maintenance, repair & trouble-
shooting of all production equipment, utility systems,
installing new equipment & updates on existing
equipment, supervising a small crew 1-2 helpers.
Essential duties include but are not limited
to the following: Must possess the ability to visually
inspect & test machinery or equipment, diagnose
electrical problems and perform necessary repairs
needed to safely install and/or return production equipment
to acceptable operating conditions. Must be able to carry
out planned maintenance activities such as but not
limited to cleaning & lubricating shafts, bearings, gears
& other parts of machinery or plant equipment as well
as installing & repairing electrical apparatus; such as
transformers, wiring, electrical & electronic components.
Sets up & operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder,
drill & milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts
jigs & fixtures & tools. Operates cutting torch or welding
equipment to cut or join metal parts. Requires some
basic carpentry skills such as fabricating or repairing
counters, benches, partitions & other wooden structures,
as well as some masonry skills. Must be able to supervise
a crew of 1-2 helpers, prepare work schedule and make
sure work is effectively & correctly done.
