Welding Engineer needed for Nuclear Manufacturing Facility - direct hire position near Akron, Ohio
DEL Technical Services has an immediate need for a Welding Engineer for a client company. This is a direct hire position located near Akron, Ohio.
Summary
The welding engineer will be responsible for supporting welding programs within the client’s Nuclear Operations Group's manufacturing facility. This facility is a leader in producing advanced technology products and engineering services for the defense industry by incorporating state-of-the-art welding and robotic processes.
Qualifications
· BS in engineering, prefer welding engineer with controls and programming background
· Minimum 3-5 years manufacturing environment experience with control, automated welding process experience, robotics and stress relief furnace experience highly desirable.
· Must be able to work any shift and weekends as needed, however, primary shift would be days.
· Travel requirements up to 20% typically to our manufacturing facility
