AMICO - Bourbonnais is recruiting for Welder/Fabricators, Machine Operators, and Maintenance for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Alabama Metal Industries Corp. (AMICO) is a national manufacturer of various industrial and building products such as bar grating, metal planks, expanded metal, perforated metal, and metal lathe. AMICO was established in 1939 and is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. AMICO has 22 manufacturing and distribution sites in the US and Canada and is a subsidiary of Gibraltar Industries which has 75 locations and has $1.3B in sales.

The Metal Fabricators requires good MIG welding skills. The ability to read and work from structural steel blueprints and AWS D1.1 certification desirable.Â

The Machine Operators requires prior experience with leveling and forming equipment and presses.
Â
Maintenance - requires experience in repairing or rebuilding mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on a wide variety of industrial equipment. Overhead crane and hoist experience, experience with A/C & D/C drives and PLC’s a plus.
