Welder Assembler

Atlas Copco Drilling Solutions is responsible for the R&D, manufacturing and marketing of a wide range of rotary drilling equipment for surface mining, deephole drilling, civil construction, waterwell, aggregate/quarry, and oil and gas markets around the world. ACDS employs about 1000 people worldwide. ACDS has it’s headquarter and main production site in Garland, Texas, USA.  We have an immediate opening for a Welder-Assembler.Welder-Assembler - 2nd Shift

                                                    Responsibilities

 

·         Weld components using blueprints

·         Install and connect hydraulic controls, pumps, rams, and other system elements

·         Mount, hook-up and connect engines, gear boxes, axles and other power components and units

·         Maintain the cleanliness of the assembly area 

·         Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to immediate Supervisor

·         Follow prescribed safety regulations

·         Maintain work related records and reports

 Requirements

 ·         Two years minimum as a welder preferred

·         Must have training in reading blueprints

·         Must have experience in 3G / 4G SMAW and FCAW
