Welder 2nd Shift (3:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.)

To perform welding, brazing, and cutting using gas and electric welding equipment on Terminal Group products so that when completed will produce a fabrication that meets engineered tolerances and customer requirements..Follows instructions, prints, and work orders for the job. Plans details of working procedure and tools and material requirements.Responsible for finished weldments being within engineered tolerances. Must notify supervision if non-conformance occurs.Must be familiar with and follow AWS welding codes, and be able to successfully pass the company standard welding test.Maintains a clean and safe working area according to Kaizan principles.Must be available to work dayshift, nightshift, and overtime if required.Responsible for correct and daily time and material calculations (blue cards).This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.Current SLV welders certification and two years of experience is preferred. Work involves varying degrees of precision and control where damage could be considerable. Qualification to operate fork trucks is preferred. Familiarity with overhead cranes is preferred.
