Web Designer

Primary Function: The primary purpose of this role is to create the best possible user experience for websites and internet-based applications. The successful candidate will be able to consistently create well-balanced strategic visions and possess the tactical knowledge and skill required to implement their ideas.Key Responsibilities: Work with cross-functional teams to create and implement web-based design solutions that balance user goals and business goals while fitting within the constraints of brand, time, budget, and technology. Design visual architectures, create design elements and develop the content to implement compelling site designs. Effectively define and communicate user experience goals, conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design rationales. Establish, articulate and implement internal standards for web design that create visual harmony across all sites and that promote web standards (CSS, xHTML, etc.) across the organization. Demonstrate support for ABL's mission to deliver an experience to our customers that is always on-time, complete every time, without error or defect. Minimum Requirements: 2 year degree w/ 2-3 years professional experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Visual Studio. Demonstrated skills and passion for web design using CSS, xHTML and other modern web technologies.Preferred Requirements: Bachelor’s degree w/ 5+ year’s professional experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Visual Studio. Demonstrated skills and passion for web design using CSS, xHTML and other modern web technologies. Experience following and shaping a development methodology.
