Warehouse Clerk / Inventory Clerk in a Manufacturing Environment

Job Purpose: Warehouse Clerk / Inventory Clerk in a Manufacturing Environment for Restaurant Equipment.  Training will be provided.  Please do not apply of you live more than 15 miles outside 75042.

 

Job Duties Include:

 

Inventory Control:

·  Perform weekly inventory count / report

·  Prepare and order inventory items as needed according to stock requirements

·  Receive inventory shipments from vendors: unload truck, verify order is correct, undamaged and place into stock.  Inform front office product received and of any discrepencies

·  Notify vendor of damaged or missing items; arrangement replacement or credit from vendor

·  Receives credit-return materials from production by verifying identifying information and quantities of materials; placing materials in inventory

 

Shipping:

·  Prepares  shipments by assembling, packing, protecting and labeling containers. This includes processing requests, pulling materials, packing orders and placing orders in delivery area.

·  Determined method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate and time of shipment.

·  Ships items by verifying & identifying information and quantity & condition of items, loading & protecting items.

·  Documents items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information.

·  May assist with deliveries by driving truck or van to/from vendors

 

Miscellaneous:

·  Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping all manufacturing equipment, shelves, pallet area, shipping area and workstations neat in compliance with company’s procedures, rules and regulations

·  Maintains quality service by following organization standards

·  Performs general supervision of warehouse contractors.

·  Min 2 years experience (Hard Hat Environment)

·  Entry Level, Will train, Bi-lingual a plus
