Vacuum Sr. Equipment Engineer - H1817

Job Description •   Responsible engineer for Vacuum Process equipment in the wafer line. • Required to evaluate, select, order, and implement equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective per manufacturing requirements • Own the responsibility for installations, modifications and upgrades of the equipment • Maintain records of equipment performance, failures, upgrades and safety issues • Constantly study and evaluate the equipment performance and reliability • Establish programs and implement solutions to:- increase uptime, reduce wafer scraps, improve the process capability and repeatability, and reduce cost of ownership • Provide technical support to manufacturing for equipment repairs • Provide Technical training and certification for maintenance personnel. • Define and write preventive maintenance procedures.Job Requirements • Vacuum Technology theoretical and practical knowledge. • Experience in Vacuum equipment including writing specifications, knowledge of various vacuum apparatuses (Veeco Mill, PVD, IBD;Anelva, Unaxis, Nordiko, Comptech) equipment installations and understanding of failure mechanisms while designing solutions to resolve the malfunctions.  Deposition process knowledge including PVD, RF/DC Mag, IBE, IBD • Effective team player including communicating with vendors, writing procedures  for maintenance • Project planning and execution  • Data Analysis / Computer Skills • Problem Solving.
